Environmental Manners / Standards / Laws

Subheading

Hard data derived from the EAT will be the foundation for all Environmental Standards, or as David172 called them, ‘Environmental Manners’. More bluntly, they’re called laws.

Some standards or manners will be homogenised globally, and others will have local nuances. These manners can, of course, be challenged and changed if/when new understanding/needs arise/circumstances change. This aligns with the principle of having a minimum of middle wo/men71 and how building Eutopia is ’A party, not a do’151. (Where data is absent, then decisions will err on the side of caution, i.e., if there’s doubt about the toxicity of a chemical, then abstinence will prevail until there is certainty).

To mitigate alienation and frustration, then dissemination of information (Education) and inclusion via easy access and democratic participation in the UE is paramount. It should also be easy for anyone to see how conclusions at each layer of governance were reached. (Information could be presented in layers of increasing detail – from easy-to-understand Manners/rules/standards, to source data/academic research).

The immediate distribution of information spreads responsibility and enables minimum-permission citizen participation and/or guerrilla-style action291

The GRREE218 crowdfund system would also mitigate disenfranchisement by delivering equal and tangible power to every citizen for the democratic allocation of available energy.

Please try using the (efficient) ‘Six Thinking Hats’ method of parallel thinking for sharing your ideas.
It helps us to organise our thoughts and feelings. Wear the Black Hat for critisism/doubts; the Green hat for creative suggestions; the Yellow for positive responses, Red for gut feelings; White for information. I am wearing the Blue Hat now, when I say we are here to design Eutopia.

Simply write ‘Black’, ‘Yellow’, ‘Green’, etc, before your given response. Then, start a new paragraph for ideas of a different coloured hat.
