Transport
Getting around Eutopia – Globally
Travel broadens the mind and provokes innovative thinking. Travellers returning home bring increased tolerance and ideas of equality to their cultures86. Global travel rations will liberate billions who are currently unable to experience other cultures; mobility will then invigorate an exchange of consciousness and ideas.
Conversely, there is value in giving more attention to inner exploration, to discovering the people, wildlife, landscapes, and layers of reality where we live, and creating new layers of reality and beautifying our hometown turf so there’s less incentive to get away in the first place.
Similar to the above carpool system, the owners of suitable private sailboats can be incentivised to transport passengers and goods until aviation can run cleanly and/or enough large purpose-built E-gas-powered passenger vessels are launched178.
Long-haul transcontinental freight to overdeveloped nations will be reduced to a bare minimum (incentivised by TEQs and via our intentional resource rebalancing program) as the focus on repair/reuse, seasonal dining, and localism increases.

Please try using the (efficient) ‘Six Thinking Hats’ method of parallel thinking for sharing your ideas.
It helps us to organise our thoughts and feelings. Wear the Black Hat for critisism/doubts; the Green hat for creative suggestions; the Yellow for positive responses, Red for gut feelings; White for information. I am wearing the Blue Hat now, when I say we are here to design Eutopia.
Simply write ‘Black’, ‘Yellow’, ‘Green’, etc, before your given response. Then, start a new paragraph for ideas of a different coloured hat.
